About the studio
Studio Kaashi designs climate-responsive homes, offices and housing projects across Gujarat — courtyards, deep verandahs and local materials that keep buildings cool. We work with families building their first home and with developers on RERA-registered projects, from concept and plan approval to site supervision.

Common questions
How do you charge?
Usually a percentage of construction cost (as per COA guidelines) or a fixed fee per sq ft for interiors. We send a written proposal after the first meeting.
How long does design take?
About 6–10 weeks for a bungalow from concept to working drawings; plan approval timelines depend on AMC / AUDA.
Do you handle plan approval?
Yes — we prepare and submit approval drawings and help with BU (building use) permission at the end.
Do you supervise construction?
Yes, with regular site visits and a WhatsApp group for the client and contractor.
Can you design with vastu?
Yes, on request, without compromising light and ventilation.
