Please read these terms carefully before creating a page or transacting with merchants on MiniSite. These terms define our mutual rights, acceptable conduct, and legal responsibilities under Indian Law.

Last revised: October 21, 2026•Applicable to all account holders, merchants, partners, and visitors

Plain-English Summary

Direct Commerce

MiniSite provides landing page tools. You deal directly with independent merchants for all orders, WhatsApp chats, and UPI transfers.

Zero Middleman Payments

We never hold your customer payments in escrow. UPI transactions go 100% peer-to-peer into the merchant’s own bank account.

Merchant Responsibility

Merchants must legally own or have permission for images they upload, and are solely responsible for product delivery and fulfillment.

Intermediary Protection

Operating strictly under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy against fraudulent pages.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing, registering an account, or creating a microsite on MiniSite (the "Platform"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have valid legal guardian consent) and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you represent a company, business, or sole proprietorship, you represent that you hold full authorization to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Platform Role & Intermediary Disclaimer

MiniSite is an online software platform that enables local businesses, creators, professionals, and entrepreneurs to build and host digital presence microsites, digital catalogs, and lead collection forms.

Important Intermediary Notice:

MiniSite operates as an intermediary under Section 79 of India's Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not manufacture, inspect, store, or deliver any goods displayed on user microsites, nor do we act as an agent or party to any transaction between a merchant and their customers.

Any transaction, inquiry, order fulfillment, warranty, refund, or service issue is strictly a bilateral contract between the individual visitor/customer and the respective microsite owner.

3. Merchant Conduct & Prohibited Content

As an account holder or page creator, you agree not to publish, upload, host, or display any content that:

  • Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or intellectual property of others;
  • Promotes illegal goods, counterfeit items, prohibited drugs, weapons, or adult content;
  • Constitutes fraud, fake investment schemes, unauthorized financial services, or phishing;
  • Contains malicious software, viruses, or disruptive scripts;
  • Impersonates another business, entity, or individual without legal right;
  • Violates any applicable Central, State, or Local laws of India.

Pages found violating these rules are subject to immediate suspension, public notice, and legal escalation.

4. UPI & Direct Payments

MiniSite provides deep-links and standard dynamic UPI QR codes allowing customers to pay merchants directly through NPCI-approved UPI applications (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Cred, banking apps).

  • We do not process credit cards, hold merchant balances, or deduct payment gateway commission fees.
  • Merchants must configure their own valid, bank-registered UPI ID and verify incoming receipts.
  • Customers should exercise due diligence and verify the merchant name shown in their banking app before approving payments.

5. Intellectual Property & User Content

You retain full ownership of all logos, product photos, descriptions, and materials you upload to your microsite. By posting content, you grant MiniSite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license strictly to host, display, cache, and transmit the content for the technical delivery of your microsite.

All platform source code, layouts, design patterns, brand trademarks, and documentation remain the exclusive property of MiniSite.

6. Subscriptions, Upgrades & Cancellations

Certain advanced features (custom branding removal, increased section limits, verified badges) require a paid plan (e.g., Lite, Pro, Business). Pricing is clearly disclosed before subscription activation.

Paid subscriptions remain active for the duration of the purchased term. Cancellation requests or plan switches can be initiated from your dashboard or via partner support.

7. Abuse Reports, Takedowns & Termination

Every public microsite carries an automated Report this page mechanism. Upon receiving credible reports or government notices regarding illegal activity, copyright infringement, or deceptive practices, MiniSite reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently delete the microsite in compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, MiniSite shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, or delivery disputes between page owners and their buyers.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
